Jeffrey Wilt, CLU®, ChFC®, CFP®
Regional Director
Jeff Wilt joined OWR Opinion in November 2018 after retiring from Pacific Life, where he spent the final 15 years of his 35-year career in life insurance. A wholesaler in the Independent Channel for his entire career, Jeff represented carriers that featured every major life insurance policy form as their flagship product. He has enjoyed all elements of his career: the sales process, consulting on advanced markets cases, public speaking, even the driving (!!!), but he especially liked the teaching aspect of the job. At OWR Jeff primarily supports the distributions of the AIMCOR Enterprise Insurance Group. He particularly likes to offer thoughtful design and analysis to producers whose primary responsibility is not life/LTC/DI insurance.
A career-long member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals in several chapters in the Greater New York area, Jeff is a three-time president of the North Jersey Chapter of the Society. Additionally, he served for nearly ten years as a member of the Commissioner’s Advisory Board, advising New Jersey’s Commissioner of the Department of Banking and Insurance on important life and long-term care insurance issues.
An accomplished amateur classical guitarist, Jeff is a member of the New York City and New Jersey Guitar Orchestras. He serves on the Board of Directors of the New York City Classical Guitar Society. Jeff is the father of three adult children. His wife, Lori, is a Professor of Nursing at Seton Hall University. The couple live in Glenwood, NJ (Sussex County) with Holly, their Golden Retriever.
